What does WU do with this information?
WU uses this information to contact potential members. Thats it. No selling or sharing.
WU doesn’t collect more information?
Once you have been accepted as a member WU will store your information in a secured database, nothing connected to the website. This includes only information you submit through the application process or provide through future communications. This information currently has no set date of removal.
No information is stored on the website?
No. The WU database is fully divorced from the website and the website is only an avenue for potential members to contact WU and to provide published information to members.
What about cookies?
WU collects no cookies, the only ones that may be in use are ones that are used by the wordpress system to manage accounts, which WU doesn’t utilize, or tracking cookies that show you logged in to the members only section, which contains no personal data.
Why is this so simple?
Why complicate things? WU sees little purpose in collecting information we don’t plan to use or storing said unnecessary information and having to keep it secure. This makes your experience on the website easy and gives you peace of mind that no nefarious actors will get their hands on your information.
